MANUFACTURING 4 ALL, the European project focusing on business development in small municipalities

  • The European project has a budget of 60,000 euros, funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, and aims to strengthen the business fabric through the training of young people.
  • The initiative will be based on the development of an educational and youth recruitment model to promote digital skills based on Industry 4.0.

MANUFACTURING 4 ALL focuses on the transformation of small municipalities through digital education and the promotion of entrepreneurship. With the support of the City Council of Onil and the collaboration of MESTIERI LOMBARDIA Consorzio di cooperative sociali S.C.S. (Italy), FunkWeb Suksess for all (Norway) and Finnova (Belgium) the aim of this project is to implement best practices in digital skills training. The main goal is to train unemployed young people to actively contribute to the transformation of the municipalities concerned towards Industry 4.0.

The initiative aims to make itself visible as a European opportunity both for young people who want to enter the labour market and for companies that want to contribute to the construction of a serviceable business fabric. All from a perspective committed to business development through digitalisation and technological, entrepreneurial and sustainable skills. In this way, the project manages to reflect the importance of digitalisation in order not to become detached from the evolution of the market and thus avoid consequences such as abandonment or depopulation of the region.

Therefore, the project seeks to:

  • Encouraging the involvement of young unemployed people.
  • The implementation of existing industries in a process of educational, digital and entrepreneurial transformation.
  • Finding innovative solutions to address the industrial recession, the youth exodus to big cities and the negative demographic growth in certain regions
  • To improve the training of technical and support staff in the field of training, guidance and socio-occupational integration of young people in Industry 4.0.

MANUFACTURING 4 ALL succeeds in compiling all the knowledge acquired and taught while facilitating the dissemination of information for students, pupils, university students, etc. Moreover, accelerating the entry of young people into the labour market is a significant reinforcement for industries and companies in the region. This project aims to serve as an example in other places with a similar situation and to show how technology can strengthen the business fabric and, as a result, promote entrepreneurship, innovation and transformation towards Industry 4.0.
